Templates:

In simple word's template is the structure of the webpage. It tell how the page looks like. It is generally written in HTML language.

Template's have a basic structure of 2 cloumns or 3 cloumns, buttons, banners etc.

If you don't know html language no need to worry, because there are a no. of sites which provide free templates.

Eg. of a template :

Above show are nice 2 cloumn templates which you will find on the blogspot's template section.

I want different template?

Ya now the question comes if you want different template then you have to design it or just take if from the free source or a free template website.

Now remeber the source code of the template is what you need.

What is a template source code?

I will explain you, when you click the template button of the blog editor, you see some source code.

Eg. look the picture below for details

You can also paste a new source code, thus the template is changed.

You just have to take the copy the source code and paste it in your blog's template. Make sure to make a backup of your exsiting template.

What is a Counter?

* A Counter is a program that will count the number of times a Web page is loaded.
* It does not count the number of people visiting a page, because the same people
can visit the page more than one time.
* The counter looks like as in the above picture and is visible on the site

Why should a Counter be used?

* A Counter can be used to see how many times a particular Web page has been viewed.

How does the Counter work?

* Every time the Web page is viewed, a Counter image or script is loaded.
* Each time the Counter image or script is loaded, the count is increased by one the
EEE database.
* The Counter image or text changes to match the current count.

From where to get the counter?

* Go to google search for page counters.
* Go to the site choose the design of the counter (some of the design are show above)
* Choose a free counter
* They will give you the html code.

How do I use the Counter code?

* Choose to use either a Text Counter or an Image Counter.
* Cut and paste the corresponding Counter code into the HTML of your Web page.
* Do not copy both the image code and text code, or the counter will record two hits
every time the page is loaded.

Example:

*Place the counter code between the tags as show in the picture above .

What is banner ?
Ans: Above show is the banner of my blog.

Want to make a banner follow the steps:

1>Think of banner according to your blog
2>Collect the pictures etc from the net.
3>If you want to make a banner create your own in the photoshop. (some are shown below)
4>Now upload your banner on the image hosting server
eg: http://www.imageshack.us/
5>Take the link
6>Go to your blog , go to template option, edit current , paste the link with appropriate html tags in proper place.
7>Save it.
8>That's It!!!!!!!

This is eg. of a banner ....you can make as per as your blog.

Simple Steps For making a blog :

1> Think of a topic or forget it just make it
2> Go to a free bolg site
eg. www.blogspot.com
3>Creat a account (it's free mostly)
4>Suggest name for the blog and fill the details
5>Choose a template
6>Start posting
7>That's it!!!
